Picsagon visuals are made to be used freely. Our license reflects that.

What are you allowed to do with Picsagon Content?

Subject to the Prohibited Uses (see below), the Picsagon License allows users to:

  • Use Content for free: All images and videos can be downloaded and used for free.
  • Commercial and non-commercial purposes: You can use the Content for both personal and commercial projects.
  • No permission needed: You do not need permission to use the Content (though attribution is appreciated!).
  • Modify or adapt Content: You can modify or adapt the Content into new works.

What is not permitted with Picsagon Content?

We refer to these as Prohibited Uses, which include:

  • Selling Content without significant modification: Images and videos cannot be sold without significant modification. Significant modification means adding creative elements or incorporating the content into a new work.
  • Compiling Content to replicate a similar or competing service: You cannot compile images and videos from Picsagon to create a similar or competing service.
  • Using Content with recognizable trademarks, logos, or brands for commercial purposes: If the Content contains any recognizable trademarks, logos, or brands, you cannot use that Content for commercial purposes related to goods and services, especially on merchandise or other physical products for sale.
  • Using Content in immoral or illegal ways: You cannot use Content in any immoral or illegal way, especially Content that features recognizable people.
  • Using Content in misleading or deceptive ways: You cannot use Content in any way that is misleading or deceptive.
  • Using Content as part of a trademark, design mark, trade name, business name, or service mark: You cannot use any of the Content as part of a trademark, design mark, trade name, business name, or service mark.

Additional Considerations

Please be aware that certain Content may be subject to additional intellectual property rights (such as copyrights, trademarks, design rights), moral rights, proprietary rights, property rights, privacy rights, or similar. It is your responsibility to check whether you require the consent of a third party or a license to use the Content.

Tip: How to give attribution

Even though attribution isn’t required, Picsagon photographers and videographers appreciate it as it provides exposure to their work and encourages them to continue sharing.

Picsagon grants you an irrevocable, nonexclusive, worldwide copyright license to download, copy, modify, distribute, perform, and use images and videos from Picsagon for free, including for commercial purposes, without permission from or attributing the photographer/videographer or Picsagon. This license does not include the right to compile images and videos from Picsagon to replicate a similar or competing service.
